Heat water in a small pot. Once boiled, add matcha powder and mix well to avoid lumps on low heat.
Add agar agar and mix well.
Pour the agar agar mixture into a bowl, and allow it to cool off to room temperature.
Cool in fridge until firm.
Flip the bowl over onto a serving plate. Then top with a macaroon and a shaved chocolate strip or just with whipped cream if desired before serving.
